Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a small bowl, combine the flax mill with two tablespoons of water. Set aside for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients and whisk together.
In a separate smaller bowl, mix together the wet ingredient. Stir and then add the wet ingredients to the dry.
Mix together with a rubber spatula or hand mixer. Once batter is mixed, add in one tablespoon of the chopped almonds and mix in.
Line a 9 inch round baking pan with parchment paper or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Then pour in the brownie batter.
Top with chopped almonds and bake for 20 minutes.
Allow brownie to cool before enjoying.
